Efficient and Gentle Cell Separation
This RBC reagent applies a negative selection process. It labels red blood cells using antibodies targeting the Glycophorin A marker. Once labeled, magnetic particles guide these cells to the side of the tube using an EasySep™ magnet. The remaining cells—such as white blood cells—are left untouched and can be poured into a clean tube.
Unlike density gradients or chemical lysis, this method avoids harsh steps. It preserves the functional integrity of target cells and eliminates the need for extra laboratory equipment. This new version also replaces the EasySep™ Human Glycophorin A Depletion Kit for faster results.
