IntestiCult™ Organoid Growth Medium (Human) by StemCell Technologies is a complete culture medium developed for the establishment and maintenance of these organoids. Available in South Africa through Apex Scientific, this medium enables researchers to derive robust human intestinal organoids from intestinal crypts in as little as one week. The enriched stem cell population in the formulation supports consistent organoid growth, even from donor samples that are difficult to culture.
Organoids grown in IntestiCult™ develop a functional lumen lined with a polarized epithelial layer, closely mimicking the native intestine. Researchers can further differentiate these 3D cultures using IntestiCult™ Organoid Differentiation Medium (Human) to generate specialized intestinal cell types in either 3D or 2D formats, such as submerged monolayers or air–liquid interface cultures.
