Consequently, the controller can automatically regulate shelf energy during primary drying to reduce the risk of product collapse or thawing.

LyoPilot S incorporates stainless steel shelves with circulating silicone heat transfer fluid to provide excellent thermal conductivity and highly uniform temperature distribution. In addition, a pulse-type electronic expansion valve delivers rapid and precise shelf temperature regulation while minimising energy consumption. Temperature variation remains within 1°C across individual shelves and between shelf levels, improving batch-to-batch reproducibility. The standard hydraulic stoppering system also enables convenient vial sealing before samples leave the chamber.
 

LyoPilot S refrigeration and vacuum control

LyoPilot S combines an advanced refrigeration system with intelligent vacuum management to optimise Freeze Drying performance. The built-in ice condenser reaches temperatures as low as -90°C, while integrated condenser coils improve cooling efficiency and vapour capture. Hot gas defrosting prepares the system quickly for the next drying cycle, and the mechanical door lock simplifies routine cleaning.

The programmable vacuum control system allows users to define both the vacuum level and duration for every process step. A high-accuracy Pirani vacuum gauge measures vacuum down to 0.001 mbar, helping reduce drying time by up to 40%. Additionally, the system performs airtightness testing before processing and supports inert gas backfilling after Lyophilization, allowing vials to be sealed under controlled negative pressure for improved product storage.
