The Safetybox® line for compressed gases is designed for the storage of compressed gas cylinders. The models of this line are certified in compliance with EN standards 14470-2, EN16121, EN16122, and have fire resistance class G30- 30 minutes and G60- 60 minutes. It is crucial for the gas cylinders to be stored safely, therefore they must not be exposed to the direct action of sun rays, heat sources or in environments where the temperature may reach or exceed 50°C. Furthermore, they must be protected from humidity and corrosive agents, which could compromise the protection of the valve and damage the cylinder.
Please note that, for safety reasons, it is forbidden to store gases that are not compatible with each other: fuels and oxidisers must be stored separately. Safetybox® for compressed gases are equipped with safety valves that assure natural ventilation and air recirculation inside the cabinet, and which will close automatically in the event of a fire. In the same condition, the intumescent seals will expand and seal the cabinet.
The hinges are spark-proof with full opening. The doors have a key lock with cylinder lock, easy to replace in case of lost keys. These cabinets can be connected to a motor, which must always be active and suitable for aspirating the vapours emitted by the gas cylinders, and to an activated charcoal filter. The Safetybox® for compressed gases are equipped with brackets for anchoring the cylinders, and a metal ramp to facilitate the placement of the cylinders inside the cabinet. These models are designed for gas systems, and have space available for switches and distribution boxes. Containers for small cylinders are available as accessories on request.
The “Cylinder Storage” modular system is the solution for outdoor storage of compressed gas cylinders. The SD Cylinder Storage units consist of folded and welded steel panels onto girders, and are complete with adjustable feet for fixing to the ground on a concrete base. The Cylinder Storage units, being modular systems, enable the storage of fuels separately from combustion agents, gases that cannot be stored together. Cylinder Storage units are supplied disassembled, with assembly kit and instructions. Safetybox® cabinets and Cylinder Storage units are covered by Product Liability Insurance, which will reimburse any damage to persons or property caused by construction faults.
